Filed under: My day to day Drama — delz @ 6:17 am

My God is a good God

I know i have been quiet but God is doing amazing things in my life. We have been involved in ministry as a cell… Doing mighty works for the Lord

Been to Mukono, then Ebbs ends to visit Anna and see the miracle baby Pete, Opened up a children’s cell and quit my job

It’s about living and walking by faith and trusting God who holds 2moro. of course am still working till end of march but after that…. it’s working at home – for our company, soon to be a multi-million-dollar company.. watch this space

The Lord is my Shepard, i have all i need!

John G Lake January 21, 2010

Filed under: My day to day Drama — delz @ 6:27 am

Just reading about this guy makes the bu hairs on my body stand up…. Why am i not walking in this anointing…. Need to style up… Any other christian with me??? Let’s go start a healing hospital

John G Lake had a healing ministry back in the early 1900s. He was so effective in ministering healing that the state of Washington actually gave him a medical license. He opened up a hospital in Spokane where he lived, and saw so many documented cases of people being healed that they literally closed one of the other hospitals in town.

In Lake’s hospital, they didn’t administer medicine. They just came around with the Word, anointed patients with oil, and prayed with them until they saw the healing manifest. He trained others how to minister healing and called them “practitioners”. For cases that couldn’t come to the hospital, Lake sent out his practitioners to make house calls. Based on James 5:14-15, he’d give them a little bottle of oil and tell them, “Don’t come back until they’re healed.”

This kind of boldness just startles people today. They think, How could you do that? You don’t have any responsibility. Just go out and ask God to heal them. He might, He might not. Whatever will be, will be. It’s all up to God, you see. Not True

John G Lake and his practitioners knew that God had already  done his part to provide healing and it’s our turn now to take our authority and use it. 1peter2:24 “by his stripes, we WERE healed” The longest time any of those practitioners stayed out ministering was about 30 days. Sometimes they would literally move in with the people and teach them the Word. They’d build them up in faith, minister to them, and see them healed because God has already done His part.

There’s a huge difference between us healing the sick and praying for the sick (Mathew 10:8, God tells us to Go Heal the sick) As a whole, the church has believed that God can heal, but not that He has already done it. They don’t believe that He has already committed the power and authority of healing to us. So when they have a need, they approach God like a beggar. They ask Him to heal so -and-so when the truth is that He’s already done His part to produce that healing.

God has placed supernatural raising-from-the-dead power on the inside of every born-again believer (Eph 1:19-20 – and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ… ), and it’s up to us to command those  healing to come to pass. Instead of passively pleading with the Lord and asking God to do it, we need to become a commander – someone who stands up in faith, takes our authority in Christ, and commands the power of God. Isaiah 45:11

Hmmmmmmmmm
I had a long weekend, missed a good friend’s kwanjula and stayed home doing home-stuff, had dad stay over -hmmmm mum, you are a strong lady. May God bless you indeed. Oh and i realized i have the sweetest man on the planet…

I was just thinking… We need to start walking in these things of raisin the dead and seeing the blind and deaf instantly healed

On Sunday, i must testify that during communion i received a healing touch from God. Was so sick, couldn’t talk but said today as i take this communion, these bible things have to work and i was shocked on Monday when i realised i was ok. Mukama Mulungi…. Gambanti Amina

Only thing is that on Saturday evening when we went to the mortuary it was not exactly that ….. The poor lady jammed to raise up! But one of these days, it will happen.

My God is the same Today as he was many years ago and as he will forever be. He never changes. He is God!!!

Now Father Albert Has gone to be with the Lord (i hope)…  He baptised us as kids and married Lauyn and Drew in April. He was well in his 50′s but will be missed.

But, God is good… No matter What!!!

Life moves on. Thankful for today and living  everyday for Jesus

This is a wierd morning….

I last saw Jean Friday, asked her if she was ok and she said she was feeling a little sick. Yesterday we are told she is admitted in the hospital and this morning we are told she is gone… dead!!!

This life can be short

I went thru the “why Lord” phase to the “Glad she is with the Lord in Heaven” phase

jean

Jean was a lovable girl, i remember our K-modelling days at campus, then both working at Watoto… I dnt know much about her family but with the few conversations and many lunches together. I know she will be missed.

I know you are having a blast in Heaven… will join you one day…

My heart goes out to the family and close friends… Death is terrible BUT God remains soverign!!!!

Iam enjoying my Life October 13, 2009

Filed under: My day to day Drama — delz @ 6:17 am

This Life can be crazy at times…. But am enjoying every moment… Thank u Jesus

This past weekend, we had a 3 day holiday… Didn’t feel it! I was so busy finishing up on the other zillion things…
Friday, had to meet Peace in the morning and also cook a meal for dad who was coming over for lunch before 1.. Crazy! But i managed, We were eating before 2.

Later that evening, we went to attend an over night, it was really nice… Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. “

Saturday, i had a kwanjula to attend… Not any kwanjula, but one of my gals, jojo… we had been anticipating this day since november last year so i was pretty much excited… On reaching home, i couldn’t afford to sleep, i just rushed to the salon to do my hair and then to her house…

The place was getting sorted and everyone was excited, only that the clouds were turning grey.. i chose to ignore that, anyway to cut the Long story short… it was nice… when they played “yono Mr Handsome” to identify the guy and “alina potential” it was pretty much done…. It rained yah, and we all had a ream of brown at the bottom of the gomesis or cansus but we had a bu-last. well, i was tired and needed sleep but enjoyed the day.. she looked so cute and him, so happy…

Sunday… we went for a church service.. I tell you, i live with an anointed “man-a-gad” My baby preached about the importance of knowing the word of God and i was so proud cos i know people were ministered to and lives were changed. I had to introduce the speaker (something i found odd) and i didn’t have much to say, but i guess i should practice just in case am asked to do the same thing again at another place.

At the end, someone gave us a revelation about our lives, am yet to accept…. God has to first speak! We spent the rest of the day chilling and went out for dinner, that was to mark the end of the long holiday… Thanks baby for dinner!

Yesterday, i spent the day enjoying my new laptop, installing stuff and setting it up. Ya, Life is good! Good Job, Good family, Good friends, Good Laptop, Great husband and A Great God! What more do i need….
